Women's Swimming Splits With Gordon, Norwich
WOMEN'S SWIMMING SPLITS WITH GORDON, NORWICH
WENHAM, MA, Jan. 27, 2007 - Elms College freshman Liz Walker (Holyoke, MA) clocked a pair of new school records and freshman Marie Waterhouse (East Longmeadow, MA) was victorious in one event to help the Blazers earn a split of Saturday's women's swimming meet at Gordon College.
Elms College (5-8) fell to host Gordon 120-87, but posted an impressive 143-51 win over Norwich University.
Walker set new school records en route to victory in the 50-yard breaststroke (33.12) and second place in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:35.78).
Waterhouse finished first in the 200-yard backstroke (2:22.83) for the Blazers.
Elms College returns to action on Saturday, February 3 at Regis College. Meet time is 1:00 p.m.
