ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Elms College freshman Rebecca Molin (West Hartford, Conn.) has been selected as the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week, announced by the league office Monday afternoon. This is the second time this season that Molin has been named weekly top rookie.

Molin tied the Elms women's soccer single-season record for goalkeeper shutouts (11) after collecting a pair of clean sheets in two NECC wins for the Blazers. Molin notched four saves in a 4-0 victory over Newbury, and then kept Southern Vermont off the scoreboard during a 1-0 overtime win. For the season, Molin owns a 0.46 Goals Against Average, leading the conference, with a .833 save percentage, second-best in the NECC.

Molin and the Blazers will return to the pitch Tuesday night for an NECC clash with Bay Path University at Leary Field at 7:00 p.m.
