Chicopee, MA - The Elms College Women's Lacrosse team opened up NECC play with a dominating win over Dean College. The Blazers led from start to finish winning the game 20-4.
The Blazers had a commanding advantage on the scoreboard and in the stat column. Five different Blazers scored goals in the game, Reilly Jodoin (South Hadley, MA) led the way with 8. Haley Richard (Monson, MA) pitched in with 8 assists, Alli Zarworny (Northampton, MA) was also big for the Blazers with 4 goals, 2 assists and 7 draw controls.
Jamaya Cleveland was huge in goal for the bulldogs stopping 17 Blazers shots.
Emily Huber (Jefferson, ME) had 9 saves and would get the win for Elms.
The Blazers are back in action with another conference game on Saturday when they host Bay Path at 3 p.m.
