Grabowski Named NEWLA Rookie of the Week

CHICOPEE, Mass. – Elms College sophomore attacker Chelsey Grabowski (South Hadley, Mass.) was named New England Women’s Lacrosse Alliance (NEWLA) Rookie of the Week for the week of March 29-April 4 as recently announced by the organization.

Grabowski netted four goals in the Blazers’ 17-9 loss to Thomas College on Saturday, April 3 and scooped up seven groundballs. Grabowski totaled six goals during Elms’ 0-3 week, and has now collected 16 groundballs so far this season. This is Grabowski’s first NEWLA accolade of the season.
