Medford, MA – The Elms College women's basketball team picked up a dominant 86-59 road conference win at Lesley University on Saturday afternoon. The win puts the Blazers at (8-13) overall and (4-6) in the New England Collegiate Conference.
Elms would trail 12-9 at the 4:26 mark on the opening quarter when Regina LeBlanc hit a three pointer to tie things up, the Blazers would not trail the rest of the game. The Blazers went on a 9-0 run and would continue to pull away, and build on its lead taking and took a 58-45 advantage into halftime.
The third quarter was evenly played, with both teams putting up 14 points. Elms would double up the Lynx in the fourth quarter outscoring the home side 29-14, and go to take the game 86-59.
