MANCHESTER, CT, Sept. 6, 2008 - Elms College senior Jill Bigos (Florence, MA) and sophomore Nick Whitman (Florence, MA) were the top two individual finishers for the Blazers in Saturday's Trinity Invitational hosted at Wickham Park.
Bigos clocked a solid time of 21:10 to place 123rd out of 175 finishers in the women's 4,000-meter race that included runners from Division I, II and III.
Whitman, meanwhile clocked a time of 25:30 in the 5,000-meter race as the Blazers' highest men's finisher.
Elms College returns to action next Saturday, September 13 at the Smith Invitational.
