Men's Cross Country Competes at Rivier Invitational
MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY COMPETES AT RIVIER INVITATIONAL
NASHUA, NH, Sept. 30, 2006 - Elms College sophomore Jill Bigos (Florence, MA) and senior Joe Crooks (Springfield, MA) were the top individual finishers for the Blazers at Friday's Rivier Invitational hosted by Rivier College.
Bigos placed 13th overall in the 73-runner women's 5,000-meter race in a time of 23:56, while Crooks placed 19th in the 67-runner men's 8,000-meter race in a time of 32:02.
Elms College's women's team finished 7th out of 10 teams with a score of 158 points, while the men's team did not register a team score.
