1st Half How It Happened

The Blazers started the game off with a quick shot by first year midfielder Pajorn Drysdale (Nantucket, MA) who had it blocked by a Nichols defender. It was a very evenly matched battle between the Blazers and Bison, despite the minor adversities with fouls. The Blazers were getting shots off but were unable to hit the back of the net. The Bison put a goal up when William Savage got a shot off a feed by teammate Jon Christy at the 25:22 mark to put them ahead 1-0.

2nd Half How It Happened

Just a minute into the second half the Blazers had scoring opportunities, with unlucky touches they weren't able to finish. With the pace of the game rapidly becoming more physical the Blazers pushed through. The Bison were quick to respond with shots on goal but were unable to get it past senior goalkeeper Collin Liedke (Newington, CT) who ended the game with a total of 14 saves, 11 of them in just the second half. Due to a scrum in front of the Blazers goal the Bison were able to sneak in a shot putting them up 2-0 in the 78th minute. The Blazers were unable to comeback and end the game 2-0 to the Bison.
