SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. -- The Elms College men's golf team sits in a tie for fifth place mid-way through the Blazer Invitational after posting an 18-hole team score of 313 (+25) on Saturday at Ledges Golf Course.

Chris Soderberg and William Marchand are tied for 16th individually after posting matching scores of 5-over 77. Christian Pavlakis is one stroke behind them, in 18th place after a 78. Matt King and Frankie Murray each shot 81 for the Blazers, who are just one shot behind fourth-place Westfield State (312) and 14 shots behind 18-hole leader Husson (299).
Western New England's Ryan Zogby holds the individual lead after a 2-under 70 on Saturday, leading the Golden Bears to the second-place position.

The 36-hole event, which features 17 teams, will wrap up with 18 holes on Sunday afternoon.
