Blazers Take Home Saints Invitational Title

HYDE PARK, Mass. – The Elms College men's golf team took home its first tournament title of the season after posting a 321 at the 18-hole Saints Invitational at Emmanuel College at George Wright Golf Course on Tuesday.

William Marchand led Elms with a 78 and Matt King was just one stroke off his pace, carding a 79. Christian Pavlakis shot 81, Josh Keaton shot 83 and John Keegan posted an 86 for the Blazers.

Elms held off second-place Suffolk by six strokes.

The Blazers are coming off a second-place finish at the New England Collegiate Conference Championships over the weekend and are heading into the annual home event, the Blazer Invitational, a 36-hole tournament Oct. 6-7.
