Blazers Finish 10th At Detrick Invitational

NEWINGTON, Conn. – The Elms College men's golf team finished the Detrick Invitational in 10th place after a second-straight team score of 319 on Sunday at Indian Hill Country Club.

William Marchand tied for 18th individually after firing a 76 on Sunday, a two-stroke improvement over his first round score. Matt King matched Marchand's 76 on Sunday and tied for 30th after shooting 83 on Saturday.

Trinity College won the 36 hole tournament at -4 (572), 24 strokes clear of second-place Babson. Elms finished just two strokes behind Springfield College, which finished ninth at 636 overall.

The Blazers return to action at the MCLA Invitational on Sept. 13.
