Leach Selected As NECC Men's Hoops Rookie Of The Week

MARSHFIELD, Mass. -- Elms College freshman Will Leach (Washington, D.C.) was recognized as the New England Collegiate Conference Men’s Basketball Rookie of the Week for the week ending Nov. 18, the league announced Monday.

Leach came off the bench in two games to average 7.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game. The rookie shot 55.6 percent from the field as Elms dropped a pair of games to Rutgers-Newark and Hunter in the John K. Adams Tip-Off Classic in Newark, N.J.

Leach and the Blazers return to action on Nov. 20 when Trinity (CT) visits Picknelly Arena at 7:00 p.m.
