Field Hockey Drops Non-Conference Game With Union

CHICOPEE, MA – The Elms College field hockey team dropped a non-conference game on Wednesday evening 2-0 to the visiting Dutchwomen of Union College on Leary Field. With the loss the Blazers fall 3-9 on the season.

Union got off to a fast start, scoring just four minutes into the game, and outshooting Elms 5-0 in the quarter. The Blazers would pick up their play in the second quarter, and nearly found the equalizer with just 20 seconds left in the half, when Carissa Ramirez (San Diego, CA) ripped a shot that wrung off the post.
