Bergeron Earns NAC Rookie of the Week Honors

BERGERON EARNS NAC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK HONORS 

CHICOPEE, MA, April 23, 2007 - Elms College freshman baseball pitcher Sean Bergeron (Chicopee, MA) earned North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Rookie of the Week honors for the week of April 16 to April 22.

Bergeron went a perfect 2-0 that included a complete-game, three-hit shutout over Becker last Wednesday and 2 innings of no-hit relief to earn the victory in the Blazers' come-from-behind win over NAC-leading St. Joseph's on Sunday afternoon. In 9.1 innings, Bergeron struck out four and allowed no runs on just one hit.
