Bio

Cohn was hired as Associate Head Coach of the Men's Soccer program before the start of the 2023 Spring season. Cohn has extensive coaching experience at the International, Club, ODP and High School levels.

In July 2023 Cohn led the Maccabi USA U-16 teams to a Silver medal in the World Maccabiah games in Israel. Cohn coached the Maccabi USA Team at the 2019 Pan Am games in Mexico and the 2018 Youth Games in Israel. Cohn has been a head coach of CT ODP teams since 2004 and was on the rEegional staff for the 2023 ID camp. . He currently is the RTC Director overseeing the camps and clinics for Connecticut Junior Soccer Association. Cohn has coached both on the boys’ and girls’ side at the high school level, having coached Manchester High Boys and Girls programs as well as Bloomfield High Boys. Cohn led Manchester High Girls to eleven State tournaments and in his first year coaching the Boys program the team qualified for the State CIAC tournament after a five-year hiatus.

Cohn has played in both the SNEASL and SASL Adult leagues for over twenty-five years and played at the collegiate level for Curry College. Cohn graduated from The University of Connecticut in 1983 with his Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree. Cohn holds a USSF National “D” Coaching License and resides in Farmington, CT.
